Following her graduation from Newpark Music Centre with a BA in Jazz peformance, Yuzuha has become an active part of the Irish Jazz and Contemporary Music scene and has performed in venues and festivals all over the country with many of Ireland’s top musicians
and groups. These inculde Conor Guilfoyle, Max Zaska, Denise Chaila, Inni-K, Izumi Kimura, Tommy Halferty, Glasshouse Ensemble and more.
Since 2020 she has performed with The Conor Guilfoyle Octet as part of an Arts Council funded tour of Ireland playing the original arrangements of Miles Davis’s Birth of the Cool, the first of it’s kind in Ireland. She has also recently toured internationally, with notable
performances in well-known venues including London’s Vortex Jazz Club, The Barbican as part of London Jazz Festival and Reduta Jazz Club in Prague as well as being part of the first Irish act to peform in Avignon Jazz Festival.
